Simplifi LIVE — “See it LIVE”: 1-day live patient shadowing experience

A one-day, in-surgery day: you watch Dr Albert treat a real patient from consent to polish, streamed from a 4K microscope, with commentary and questions throughout. 8 hours of verifiable CPD. No bench work — the point is to see a whole appointment at the speed it really happens.

Live assumes you already know the protocol, so the day goes on the judgement calls (isolation, shade, what to do when the plan changes) instead of the basics. It is open to anyone who has completed Simplifi Composite or Simplifi Layering. If you have not yet, start there.

One patient, one case, start to finish: consent, photographs, shade, smile design, isolation, placement, finishing, then the review at the end. You can ask anything as it happens. Lunch and refreshments are included, and there are drinks and a meal afterwards.

On Composite and Layering you place six teeth yourself. On Live you place nothing — you watch a real case on a real patient, which is the one thing a model cannot teach: time pressure, soft tissue, saliva, and a person in the chair.

£850 including VAT for the day, in surgery in Windsor. Instalments are available on the two-day hands-on courses, not on Live.

Nothing. Loupes if you use them, though you will mostly be watching the microscope stream. Bring questions.

For cancellations more than 30 days before the course, you receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee. For cancellations less than 30 days before, or no-shows, no refund is available. Date swaps can only be made more than 30 days before the course and may be subject to an administrative fee. In the unlikely event Simplifi has to cancel, the course is rescheduled promptly; Simplifi cannot be held liable for any additional costs incurred.
